The EPPE Project
This is a copy of the EPPE study, which is a longitudinal study of different types of preschool provision in the UK, including playgroups, private nurseries and state-maintained nurseries and primary schools. They looked at results of mathematical and reading/writing ability at the end of Year 2 (age 6-7) and worked backwards to identify consistently effective examples of practice.
